The development of complex, safety relevant systems and software demands high standards for the process. At Siemens these are internally documented through the Guide Process. To get the employees acquainted with the processes, Siemens ordered a web-based training from us.
When talking to the client we quickly realised that for this training we needed to focus on the key aspects of the detailed standards only in order to keep the participants motivated and to make them realise that the guide process helps them with their daily tasks. Thus, we identified six topics that we explain each in one short module.
To keep and increase the attention and interest of the participants we used our avatar Phil who is very popular amongst Siemens’ employees. Phil facililitates and guides through the course. This gives the participants the opportunity to get their head around this complex topic.
