These days we cannot imagine day-to-day life without social and professional networks or instant messenger services. A responsible usage of social media requires certain rules that have to be followed especially by company employees to protect not only themselves, but also their employer.
Thus, our client, Volkswagen Financial Services AG, ordered a web-based training helping their employees to apply the internal Media Guidelines.
We translated the internal Media Guidelines into concrete company-compliant instructions. For this purpose, our designers created an avatar – Ben Schilling, a nice fictitious character – who guides the participants through the training. Ben knows the Media Guidelines well, however, he needs help to apply them correctly. This way we were able to put the participants into realistic situations, giving them a good sense of how to use social media properly. We divided the contents in different modules so that the employees can choose the topics flexibly and according to their individual needs.
